BidVertiser - The worst publisher program ever?

I told you I would test out BidVertiser for some months ago. And I have recently done that. And my verdict is not the best.

BidVertiser is a pay-per-click program and looks just like AdSense, YPN and Clicksor. Ok, this is what they say about their publisher program on their own site:

  • Make money with affiliate program that pays you for every click.
  • No more waiting - $10 minimum payouts through PayPal.
  • Always have the highest bidders displayed on your website.
  • Customize the layout of your ads.
  • Block any unwanted ad.
  • Generate reports to monitor your ads performance.
  • Learn more how you can make money from your website.

Sounds pretty good, right? It may sound good but in action, on your site, no.

The first annoying thing you will discover when using the user control panel is that you can only use one banner size on your site. You can’t use several different banner sizes on different pages. First of all you have to choose a banner template, customize it and all that. One good thing is that you can use whatever size you want and not just the normal banner sizes. When that is done you go back to the start page of your user cp to get the code of your banner that you had just made (!). So you place the code on your site and save everything. Then after some days you may want to change the size or add another size to any other page on your site. Well, you can’t just do that. Because if you change the size or the colours of the banner in your user cp it automatically change the ad design of the banner you had first published on your site. This is just plain stupid. Why can’t the user be allowed to have different ad designs on their site? If you want to have different ad designs you must register a new site in your BidVertiser account. Really annoying and stupid!

Because no one actually buys any ad space on your site through BidVertiser you will only receive the network ads. And a click on one of them are only worth $0.05. Not a penny more. So you need a lot of clicks to get that $10 payment. Even Clicksor pay you better.

Another big miss is that you can’t rotate the BidVertiser ads in any kind of ad rotation program like PHP AdsNew. You must have the ad code directly on your site. If you don’t you won’t get paid for the clicks your banner generates.

If I were you I wouldn’t sign up for BidVertiser. I would use AdBrite or AdSense (If you don’t get accepted to AdSense I would sign up for Clicksor.) instead of this totally pointless publisher program.

  • I don’t know tht bidvertiser pays well or not,But in Your post you said that we cannot use morethan one banner ,If we change the code other ad unit also change you said.It’s wrong.See my site http://gamesupoon.com/ I am using two ad units one is top and another one is in right.
    If you want to insert another ad type.You want click another bidvertiser and choose the different types of ad stlyes wide vertical,horizontal any one.Another thing is in bidavertiser advertisers bid your site.So they pay as per thier advertisers bidding.You will get cpc constantly.i am getting 0.10$ constantly for my site.
