Everyone I know has heard of YouTube. If you haven’t, YouTube is a very large, user driven video website which allows visitors to upload their films to be seen and rated by the millions who visit YouTube daily.

YouTube is a website I personally love. But, did you know that YouTube readily supplies you with the HTML code for your website? Let’s explore the idea…

If you look at any YouTube video page (an example can be seen here- nice, eh?) you can see right in the center of the page, inside the ‘About This Video’ box, the URL, and the Embed code! Yep! And, no waste of bandwidth on your stressed server- use YouTube’s.

So, not only do we have FREE content (which is always great for the budding webmaster), but, it wastes no more bandwidth then that of loading the site design!

This opens up any website to great content. Better yet, if you are running an entertainment type website, add this as a regularly updated content feature. 35,000 videos a day is certainly nothing to sneeze at, and the odds of finding a couple funny videos every few days shouldn’t be hard.

Last, but not least, it’s easy to do. It doesn’t matter what type of a website you own, if you think some videos will fit, it will take you a matter of seconds to add the content! It will take more time to even prep the page to be uploaded then to add the content itself.
