PayPerPost Launches Direct Marketplace

At the end of May this year PayPerPost launched a direct marketplace for their publishers and advertisers, something that PayperPost users have waited a long time for.
This direct marketplace works like this. If you own a blog you can sign up for PayPerPost and add a little badge that basically says “Hire Me!” and explains that people can buy a post on your blog. The good things with this are:
- You will have a new way to generate income.
- You no longer need to search for so called opportunities. The opportunities come to you.
- You will get more related opportunities and advertisers to what your blog is all about.
PayPerPost Direct is actually something that other competitors like ReviewMe have offered their users for a while now. But PayPerPost’s only charge a a 10% fee. 5% of those go to transaction fees for PayPal and various credit card processing. Other similar marketplaces can take up to 50%!
But what are the bad things then, there has to be some kind of downside with this?
Well, some of your readers might not like the idea that you post paid articles on your blog. But as soon as you put ads on your blog some people will be offended. Try to explain to your readers why you do this and how it is helping your blog to stay online and active. Cause it does cost to run a blog these days. But whatever you do, don’t flood your blog with paid posts! You might find it good in the short run but in the long run you will only suffer from that. So take my advice, use this service but don’t use it too much and keep the posts related to your blogs topic.
