ScrewTurn Wiki 2.0

Posted by Gary on May 29th, 2007 in Blogging, Free Stuff, Web Design | 1 Comment

I was doing one of my favorite things yesterday, and yes, it was surfing on the web trying to find something else I could bring into discussion.

I had run up on an unusual piece of software and as usual scrolled to the bottom of the page to check out the small print when a particular word caught my eye; screwturn and I couldn’t wait to give that one a left click. To make a long story short screwturn was the name of the program the site had been created with and believe me, it looked great!

You can do about anything with screwturn , try it out, discuss it, download it, use it, what ever, it’s free, open source and available in several different packages to fit your needs.  Give it a spin!          Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

AOL copies the Yahoo Website

Posted by Simon on April 27th, 2007 in Web Design | No Comments

This is just low. Really low. Lower than Glocalnet (only people from Sweden will understand that one). AOL with their big budget will soon launch AOL.com 3.0 with a new website design. And guess what? Instead of making their own website design they go and copy Yahoo!’s brand new website design.

You can compare the two designs and be the judge. Check out AOL 3.0 Beta and the Yahoo! homepage.
