Zookoda - Free Email Marketing

Posted by Simon on March 10th, 2007 in Web Promotion | 1 Comment

As a blogger it’s important for you to offer your readers another option to get your posts and articles besides your RSS-feed. Many readers rather want to get your posts as an email to their inbox instead of trying to figure out what an RSS-feed is and how it works.

If you use Feedburner to maintain your RSS-feed you might already have activated this option. But if you want more detailed reports about your email subscribers, a robust and customizable solution you should go with Zookoda instead. Zookoda is a free and easy to use email marketing tool that is especially designed for bloggers.

After you have signed up for a Zookoda account you can customize your email letters with templates that has similarities with the designs of the very popular Blogger.com blogs. You can also create your very own templates. For example, Feedburner does not offer this solution.

With Zookoda you can create several different mailing lists and customize the subscription form that your readers sign up with. You can also “schedule a broadcast” or two. This means that you can decide at what time and on which day you want the summary of your latest blog posts to be emailed out to your readers. If you just want to send out a short email now and then you can do that too. The possibilities are endless! With Feedburner you can only choose to send out your email once per day, and that isn’t fun.

As I mentioned before Zookoda offers better reports and stats of your emails and their readers. You also have the option to “blacklist” one or several email addresses. So if you don’t want johnsmith@hotmail.com to sign up you can always blacklist him.

A few of the factors that need to be considered are the following- Graphical Layout, Web Design, Relative Content, Logical Layout, Exposure, and Non-Intrusive Lead Generation. Below is a brief description of each of these factors and what to look for to determine if you have all these factors working for you.

Graphical Layout
The graphical layout of your site would be the graphical details of your site working together to create the right mood and visual appeal. The best Internet affiliate marketing has to focus on the two most important factors that are bound to greatly increase your income from you affiliate programs. And that is the volume of targeted traffic that is being directed to your affiliate site and the conversion rate.

The way to increase traffic in order to attain the best Internet affiliate marketing is heavily dependent on the kind of content that you are generating for your site and how closely it matches the expectations of visitors to your site.

The conversion rate will rely heavily on how targeted the traffic you are receiving is and how relevant it is to the particular affiliate program you have joined. These are the basics in Internet affiliate marketing and it is best not to ignore them. One of the techniques that you can use to improve your conversion rate is to pre-sell to your audience before they arrive at your affiliate site. The best marketing way to do this is through articles and information on how your Internet affiliate product solves a certain problem. The article should be targeted at people facing that particular problem who will then have no problem in clicking through to your affiliate site for a complete solution.

Constantly keeping an eye on the two key elements of increased earnings from an affiliate program is the real secret behind achieving your best Internet affiliate marketing.

Banners, Logos, Plus a Little More

Posted by Simon on August 27th, 2006 in Web Design, Web Promotion | No Comments

I can remember when I first started messing around with website builders and would have given anything to have a banner. With my lack of search experience I was no ace of finding anything but with time came results and I started saving the links that offered any kind of online graphic tool. I figured I was not the only dummy online that was having trouble finding a place to create a banner or logo so I created a web page with Google’s Page Creator. You can check out Free Banners Plus here and I hope you find something you can use.
